Why should you get involved with your community? - It feels good. The satisfaction and pride that come from
helping others are important reasons to volunteer.
- It strengthens the community. We provide services at low or no-cost to
the community. When a community is doing well as a whole, its individuals are better off, too.
- It can strengthen your family.
Volunteering is a great way for families to have fun and feel closer. If you believe you are too busy with work and other family commitments, try rethinking
some of your free time as a family. Maybe select one project a year and make it a family tradition.
